It is the narrow canyon of a river which flows through Zuun Saikhan Uul (mountain),62 kilometers northwest of Dalanzadgad town. The gorge has sheer rock walls with a height of about 200 meters in the center park. It has been protected since 1965 and has an area of 70 square kilometers. today it is a Strictly Protected Area. The rain which falls at he summit of the mountain flows down into the sheer canyon forming four waterfalls. Several hundred meters distance is between waterfalls. It is enjoyable to watch the waterfalls streaming over the rim in winter. Only two people can pass in the most narrow part. Despite the sunshine, the place is quite dark. if you see the sky, it is only as a narrow blue line. Argali and Siberian Ibex are found in this place.

RELATED BLOGS

ALTAI TAVAN BOGD NATIONAL PARK

Bayan Ulgii Province is Most Western Province of Mongolia

Bayan Ulgii province is located in the West of Mongolia. West and North it borders with Russia and on the South with China. It is the highest province in Mongolia and located in Altai Mountains Range.
